Our approach aims to transform learning disability diagnostics, making comprehensive support 10X cheaper and faster than current models.
ABOUT THE WINNER: Talentos Unidos connects resilient immigrants with work permits to production and manufacturing companies in need of workers. Their mission is to bridge opportunity gaps by using a WhatsApp bot to collect information from migrants and share it with companies that do not typically use platforms like LinkedIn. This approach makes the job-matching process more accessible and user-friendly for both parties. While the process is currently manual, they are developing a tool to automate it, increasing efficiency and expanding their reach. By doing so, Talentos Unidos empowers immigrants, supports companies, and drives greater social impact through a more inclusive workforce.
ABOUT THE WINNER: Healthiator empowers patients to make informed healthcare decisions by providing transparent cost estimates for treatments across hospitals based on their insurance or cash-pay options. Leveraging recent price transparency regulations, Healthiator help patients compare costs and avoid surprise bills. Additionally, with 80% of hospital bills containing errors, their AI tool identifies billing discrepancies and handles negotiations on behalf of patients, reducing their financial burden. Currently, Healthiator is in early-stage prototype development and market testing.
Vici claimed first place at the 2023 Pitch Competition, securing $25,000 in equity investment from sole investor, Pierre Rolin at Ankh Impact Ventures, an impact-driven, female founder focused VC promoting innovations for sustainability and social inclusivity.
